"It is only through a Political Solution the Ethnic Issue can be solved"

(November 27, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Speaking today at a Defense Watch Press Conference (27th Nov) UNP General Secretary Tissa Attanyake reiterated his position on the Ethnic conflict of our country by stating that it is only through a political solution that the Ethnic issue could be solved.

The parliamentarian also focused his attention on the East by stating that the government has not taken adequate attention to control the violent incidents that rise in the East almost daily.

The Parliamentarian also stated that the government is hinting the masses through various means that is it prepared to initiate a Ceasefire exactly in the manner which the UNP incepted in 2002 after causing so much havoc and mayhem through the war that it had orchestrated in the past year and a half. - Sri Lanka Guardian
