(November 27, Chennai, Sri Lanka Guardian) AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa today said the reason behind Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's decision to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi was to discuss with him over the 'spectrum scam', which is expected to rock the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.In a statement here, she said Karunanidhi, who wanted to discuss the issue with Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh, convened an all-party meet on Tuesday and resolved to led an all-party team from the State to the capital in the guise of pressurising the Centre over the Lankan issue.
'Karunanidhi is always known for selfishness. I strongly condemn him for planning the Delhi trip at the expense of the government for a selfish motive,' she said. - Sri Lanka Guardian
