(October 20, Chennai, Sri Lanka Guardian) TNCC president K V Thangka Balu today condemned film directors Seeman and Ameer for their alleged remarks in support of LTTE at the rally organised by film fraternity in Rameswaram yesterday.
In a press release here, Thangka Balu said, ‘the Central and the State governments have been taken several measures to ensure the livelihood of Tamils in Sri Lanka.
At a time when everyone is striving hard to find a solution for the vexatious issue, those not making statements reportedly in favour of banned terrorist organisation like LTTE would not be recognised by the society’.
‘At the Rameswaram rally yesterday, the speeches made by directors Seeman and Ameer with regard to the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and Indira Gandhi deserve condemnation.’ - Sri Lanka Guardian
