PLOTE nock the foreign ministry door in Norway.

(October 22, Oslo, Sri Lanka Guardian) A delegation of People's Liberation Organisation of Tamil Eelam (PLOTE) asked the Norway Jon Hansen-Bauer, why he wanted to place the Tamil people of Sri Lanka under the thumb of the ruthless fascist dictator Velupillai Prabhakaran. "By treating LTTE as the sole representative of the Tamil people and working towards a self rule of LTTE, you are forcing the democratic peace loving Tamil people to be subservient slaves of a worst dictator," the delegation told Jon Hansen-Bauer. Adviser to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Offical was also present at the discussion.

The PLOTE delegation urged Norway to give an ultimatum to the LTTE to allow people to Government Control area. Jon Hansen-Bauer assured the delegation that Norway will take this matter to the notice of the LTTE. One of the PLOTE members told Solheim that his was a democratic political party and they maintain contact with everybody from the LTTE to JVP. When the PLOTE delegation pointed out that about LTTE atrocities and harassments against the Tamil civilians, Jon Hansen-Bauer said that they should consider that matter.

The PLOTE member said to all Media that the pro-LTTE newspaper has named him as an informant to Norwegian intelligence and he was working against peace. "This is a clear threat to my life and I have lodged a complaint at the Police Headquarters in Oslo," he said. Jon Hansen-Bauer asked the PLOTE delegation to meet him again after short period. - Sri Lanka Guardian
