“No person who called Nesan in EROS"

(October 29, Batticaloa, Sri Lanka Guardian) Rajanathan Pirabakaran , General Secretary of the EROS informed Sri Lanka Guardian through over the phones that the EROS has nothing to do with the “The present situation and the way forward” public events organised by Mr. Nesan Sankar Raji, son of former EROS member the late Mr. Sankar Raji. He also further said that they had already expelled Sankar Raji from the EROS because of his arbitrary activities and warned that the EROS would not allow anyone to direct the party according to their whims and fancies from Europe.
He also informed to Sri Lanka Guardian that he had been elected as the General Secretary of the EROS when Balakumar of the EROS was sacked from the party from January this year. He, currently living in Swiss, also said that more than 240 general committee elected 17 central committee members in their General meeting. The central committee based in Sri Lanka would appoint European representatives and accordingly, Saravanan Thusiyanthan, European representative, Wickneswararajha , media secretary were appointed. Senior member of the EROS , Arular is operating from London.
Pirabakaran also said “following the vacuum created by Karuna’s split in the East, Balakumar attempted to build up the EROS again in the East and In the wake of Karuna’s split from the LTTE in 2004, V. Gnanandiran , Ravi Sundaralingam went to Wanni and met Balakumar and the LTTE leaders. He also claimed “ they approached me with their plan but I disagreed with them “
R. Pirabakaran also alleged that Nesan Sankar Raji claiming ownership to the part just because of fact that his father was a member of the EROS. “ Without the permission of the central committee it is a despicable act for them to use the name and symbol of the EROS .” he concluded his remark “ Nesan Sankar Raji is an individual and no one is behind him and he is not a member of the party and the party is not the paternal property”.- Sri Lanka Guardian
