(October 24, london, Sri Lanka Guardian) Nadarajah Sethurupan in an exclusive write up published in the Sri Lanka Guardian and in the LTTE websites have stated: “I have only ever met with members of the LTTE on two (2) occasions in my life. The first time was during a trip to Sri Lanka alongside a MEP and MP for UK in 2002. The second incidence was during the Peace Talks in Europe, (Norway, Germany, Japan) where I was working as a reporter for media organisations and some other NGOs.”
On his visit to Sri Lanka with a MEP and MP in 2002 he was accompanied by the London based Cllr Daya Idaikadar who is an active campaigner for the LTTE cause.
Suthurupan appears to project a good image, whilst had engaged in campaigns to harass those opposed to the LTTE cause. There were extensive write-ups about his dirty and slanderous campaigns and one written under a pseudonym name Catapult Thangavelu titled Archikuddy in Dirty Sethu’s Crazyland datelined June 18, 2006 appeared in many independent websites, which gave hilarious angle to his campaign of harassment.
My first-ever encounter with him was when I received an email (exhibited below) I received from one Dhanausha Sethu on 6 June 2005. The previous email mentioned in this email was not received by me. Without knowing the anything about Sethu’s background, I responded to him thinking it was school going girl based in Bahrain. My inquiries later revealed that Sethu was an LTTE activist and was responsible for managing many LTTE front websites including the nitharsanam.com.
His campaign did not stop with one email, I was bombarded with many, and I even receive calls from him in the mid nights. In order to pressurise me to stop speaking about the LTTE, a rudimentary and degrading campaign was carried out against me in his websites. During this time, I also put adequate pressure on Sethu through official means to halt his campaign. My sustained campaign against his websites resulted in nitharasanam.com being abandoned by the LTTE and it had to move its domain address to other places.
One such address was a creative Tamil road name in Australia and the registrant name appeared in the domain details was Ulakkaiyan (a dumb). When this was pursued officially, nitharsanam.com moved to an unknown address in the LTTE controlled Vanni.
When pressure mounted on Sethu, he distanced himself from the ownership of the websites. All his websites bore fictitious domain owners names and addresses. But the tone and use of language remained the same. Very same people opposed to the LTTE cause were systematically targeted. I for one and my innocent family members were not spared. They were hounded and harassed. Sethu’s websites produced very particular types of writings and doctored pictures. They only reflected the sickening and depraved mindset of a person, who appears get thrill from publishing crooked and doctored pictures and some of them gave the vicarious sex portrayals.
The above mutilated photograph of mine is a special feature in the websites created and allegedly run by Sethu. Not only my eyes have been whitened, also a shooting target has been placed on my forehead. The picture speaks volume of depravity of the person who is relentlessly carrying out this degrading campaign.
In his latest write up to defend him, he says that he went to the Tamil Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) to clear his bad name. Unfortunately, the circumstantial evidence presented in the High Court found his visit contrary to his comment and he was given a suspended sentence. To this date he has not paid fine imposed by the court.
His actions went further when he tampered with the Companies House records of TBC. He had, in collusion with an LTTE supporting accountant, forged the statutory documents and transferred the company in his name.
This is a gist of what I know about Sethurupan. There are pages and pages of information that incriminate Sethu’s alleged dastardly conduct.
