Funeral procession of Late Major Gen. Janaka Perera and Late Vajira Perera from Anuradhapura

(October 09, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The funeral procession of Late Major General Janaka Perera and late Vajira Perera is scheduled to leave for Colombo at 3.00 p.m. today (9 Oct), from Anuradhapura after the religious ceremonies .The corteges will lie at his residence at Poorwarama Road, Colombo 06, to enable the public to pay their last respects. The procession will follow the under noted route on its way to Colombo.

From the center of Anuradhapura Town – Thalawa- Galgamuwa- Wariyapola- Hettipola- Kuliyapitiya – Pannala- Dankotuwa- Thopuwa junction –Negombo- Ja ela to Colombo.
