Brainwashing Tamil children born overseas

by Ranjith Soysa

(October 16, Melbourne, Sri Lanka Guardian) While the Sri Lankan forces are closing in on the LTTE chief in Vanni, the saviours and financiers of the LTTE in Australia exhort their followers through their websites in Brisbane and Sydney to join in demonstrations in Canberra. Ironically, the anti-Sri Lanka demonstration of LTTE fronts require a respectable theme and they chose to protest about the denial of freedom to journalists. This is blatantly false, but the discerning Australians saw through the ruse.

To add insult to injury, the organizers of demonstration against Sri Lank request school children in Australia to join them in the pro-LTTE propaganda campaigns. Children of Sri Lankan Tamil origin are used by activists without any concern for their state of mental well-being etc.

One can also see these children and youth at various LTTE led meetings, seminars expressing concern about the ‘atrocities’ committed in Sri Lanka and July 83 stories, while most of them were born in Australia and have never visited Sri Lanka.

The demonstrations, discussions, seminars in the Western countries spread myths and fabrications justifying the LTTE’s terrorism. Use of children to win the sympathy with sob stories cannot save the LTTE any longer.

Sri Lankan Tamil activists in the Western countries who are in a last ditch attempt to save the LTTE, should at least spare the children born and living overseas without brainwashing them to support and worship an internationally wanted criminal.
