17th amendment and CC: Ranil and P.M.’s meeting fruitful

(October 16, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The meeting convened yesterday, ( 16 Oct) between the Prime Minister and the Opposition leader Ranil Wickremesinghe on the directive of the Supreme Court (SC) in connexion with the Constitutional councils(CC) and the 17th amendment was reported as fruitful.

The five members for the CC have been named, and they are to meet the President next. - Sri Lanka Guardian
