LTTE men hold fund raising meeting in Hindu temple

(September 08, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) The frontline LTTE activists in London had met at the London Sri Selvavinayagar Temple based at 299 Ley Street, Ilford, Essex IG1 4BN on 3 September 2008 to initiate a fund raising campaign for the proscribed LTTE. According to sources approximately 20 persons have attended the meeting including the temple Chairman Selvarajah.

News reaching from the LTTE sources state that house to house campaign for funds will be started with the help of many other former LTTE fund raisers. It is confirmed that decision has been made to demand a minimum sum of £50 per person from each Tamil household. - Sri Lanka Guardian
