(September 01, Chennai, Sri Lanka Guardian) AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa today said Chief Minister and DMK president M Karunanidhi and his family members would soon join the AIADMK as the DMK government was counting its days.

Responding to Karunanidhi’s comment that Jayalalithaa would be admitted into the DMK if she came forward, the former Chief Minister, in a statement here said, ‘it seems that Karunanidhi had forgotten the fact that his elder son M K Muthu came to the AIADMK headquarters and received a financial aid of Rs five lakh from me.’
Denying the Chief Minister’s allegation that the AIADMK had sent man force to demolish Babri Masjid, Jayalalithaa wanted to know whether Karunanidhi could prove his charge true.
‘AIADMK had never sent anyone to demolish Babri Masjid. Karunanidhi should immediately stop lying,’ she said.
Stating that she had been facing the cases foisted against her with honesty and guts, the former Chief Minister alleged Karunanidhi had withdrawn all the cases against him and his Ministerial colleagues in the 27 month DMK regime.
