What will be Dr.Manmohan's message?

(August 03, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Sri Lanka is more interested in a military solution to the ethnic problem rather than a political solution. Sri Lanka expects that India should accept its military solution and should provide necessary help. At the same time, it is clear that if India does not support, Sri Lanka is not going to hesitate to get military equipments from the countries which are against India.

Meanwhile, Tamil people are of the view and belief that India should help to find a political solution to the ethnic problem and should not ignore the political aspirations of the Tamil people.

It is the international opinion that India can help Sri Lanka to find a lasting political solution. However, the question is how far New Delhi is concerned about this matter.

It can be observed that this situation has arisen for both central government and the Tamilnadu government to consider the people's feelings.

Meanwhile, there is an agenda for Dr.Manmohan Singh to meet the Tamil, Sinhala and Muslim representatives. It is said that TNA will bring out the problems faced by the Tamil community to Dr.Manmohan Singh. Earlier, TNA members had deliberations with him.

It is the view of the Tamil people and the Tamil leadership that India, which is a super power in the South Asian region should ensure that the Lankan ethnic issue is resolved through a political solution, that a lasting peace is found and that the sufferings of the Tamils are alleviated!
