(August 24, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) In the Provincial Council Election Vote counting for Polonnaruwa electoral division of Polonanruwa district is over. Out of the total of 87620 votes in the division, United People's Freedom Alliance received 48828 Votes and leading followed by United National Party 29731 Votes and People's Liberation Front (Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna) received 2835 Votes.


Valid = 83,207 - 94.96%
Rejected = 4,413 - 5.04%
Polled = 87,620
