(August 25, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The main opposition party the United National Party ( UNP) Chief Ministerial Candidate Ranjan Ramanayake got 130,258 preferences in Ratnapura while UPFA Chief Ministerial Candidate Mahipala Herath got 98,120 preferences in Kegalle at the PCs elections.
Meanwhile Chief Ministrial Candiated Janka Chandrajith Perera (Gen. Janaka Perera) got 116430 preferences in Anuradhapura while UPFA Chief Ministerial Candidate Bertty Premalal Dissanayake got 105588 preferences in Anuradhapura at the Saturday’s PCs elections.
