Ranil meets Indian P.M. and Foreign Minister

(August 02, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Opposition and UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe met Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and Pranab Kumar Mukherji, the Foreign Minister, yesterday evening (1 Aug). At the meeting which lasted over 30 minutes, he briefed them of the country’s political situation. The discussion also revolved around bilateral ties and political developments.

Mr. Wickremesinghe also met the visiting heads of State of Nepal and Bhutan. - Sri Lanka Guardian
