Has only ‘gundus’ and deceits to offer the people for the elections. A Govt. has only one chapter to show the people, that is, a chapter barren of achievements.
The govt. which said that it was going to withdraw the fertilizer subsidy on May 28th this year , is now promising on the ‘eve’ of elections to grant the subsidy . President who called the Farmers to the President’s House and fed them, made this promise. The aim of the President is obvious going by the Govt.’s false promises at elections, he added.
Even after hosting SAARC countries, the Govt. could not avert the criticisms leveled against SL in relation to the human rights (HR) violations record. Sri Lanka is ranked as the worst even among those Asian countries, let alone the Western countries. - Sri Lanka Guardian
