(July 14, California, Sri Lanka Guardain) What had LTTE done to our Tamil people for the last ten years. I was amazed by perspective of many LTTE supporters. I found that LTTE done the following things to Tamil people.
1) Tarnished the name of Tamils around the world. Tamils were known as intellectuals but thanks to the LTTE, Tamils are now known as terrorists.

2) Divided Eastern and Northern Tamils due to Karuna issue and created unnecessary problems for Tamil nation.
3) Destroyed the Tamil children and young Tamil generation due to child soldiers.

4) Destroyed Tamil education by enforcing a war culture on young people
5) Destroyed the Northeastern infrastructure through continuous war.
6) Elected a war mongering President in last election and destroyed the CFA.
7) Destroyed the Diaspora unity through double games of LTTE agents

I disagree. You don’t know how powerful and effective we are.
1) We have brought mighty India, the world’s largest democracy into her knees by blasting the charismatic leader Rajiv Gandhi.
2) Our net worth is either closer or more than US$1 Billion.
3) Our boats have successfully integrated closer to 1 Million Tamils in to western welfare systems.
4) We have inspired Oklahoma city and USS Cole bombing.
5) We have the world’s most effective and lethal suicidal jacket.
6) Our airforce is two aircrafts strong. Our accuracy is +- 5000 meters.
7) We are the leading killer of Tamils next to heart disease.
8) Leading western politicians are in our pocket.
9) We pump over $200 million per year out of western nations to the war in Sri Lanka.
10) We are stronger and smarter than Al Qaida.
Allow me to answer few of those questions please. Before I do that, I would like to know where this author been living for the past how ever many years?
1. Not where I live and not according to research done by the various education authorities of all the countries that has given refuge to Thamils.
2.Karuna? You are telling me that you are Thamil? Tell me how can you say that you are Thamil when you ask a question like that. Have you done NGO work prior to Karuna leaving the LTTE? You wouldn't have asked this question if you had.
3. Agreed but Karuna was the worst culprit of this. That doesn't mean the others didn't do it or stop him from doing.
4. My personal experience, GOSL did this for LTTE. No need for LTTE to do this they had enough joining them.
5. At this point I thought you must be working for the SL intelligence. How can you be so naive? Go out there and see it for yourself. Good example is Jaffna now. Under GOSL control but where is the infrastructure? Forget infrastructure, where is the essential items like baby milk powder? Is that LTTE's fault.
6. Tottaly agree with this. It was a monuments error by LTTE. Maybe the advisers or VP got it wrong.

Just to make one thing clear, I am not a fan of LTTE. The first high profile non political person they killed was my school principal. They went onto kill some very good intellectuals and TULF members who if alive would have done good for the Thamils than harm. However, this doesn't mean I support or agree with the GOSL. I honestly believe that majority of the Singhalese people are peace loving people. This is very similar to the Thamil population.
LTTE in the past have made serious errors/mistakes on major political issues they have got things wrong again and again. This shows they don't have people who are street wise enough when it comes to politics. Late Mr Balasingham and the lawyer who lives in your country don't have the political experience?
