(June 06, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) The LTTE managed Shree Nagapooshani Ambal temple in the North London is raising funds for the LTTE in an organised manner.
In a specially organised fundraising programme titled ‘Kodi Archanai’ (Million services by the priest) the temple is aiming to collect a million sterling pounds from the programme for the LTTE.
The programme is set for one hundred days and each special service is said to be charged at £100 per person. The planned programme has accomplished 75 days so far and the LTTE management is touting more people to join the service.
The Shree Nagapooshani Ambal temple was formed in 2002 by few hardcore LTTE activists in London. One of them is Dr Vinayagamoorthy who is currently held in detention in USA following a sting operation by the FBI when he and few others attempted to purchase arms for the LTTE in the USA. The other LTTE founder members are T Manmatharajah, A Vahan and K Sivachandran. T Manmatharajah was one time tuition master of Mathivathani Pirabakaran, the wife of the LTTE supremo Velupillai Pitabakaran whilst A Vahan specially went to Sri Lanka in 2005 for military training.

give up their time in the development. This took them a lot of effort. When they started this temple their main aim was to send money to the ‘Thayagam’ (motherland)’.
