(June 30, London, Sri Lanka Guardian) Crude oil prices struck record high levels of 143 US dollars a barrel in trading on Monday as the US currency weakened, dealers said.
New York light sweet crude struck an all-time high of 143.67 US dollars a barrel and Brent North Sea crude reached a historic peak of 143.53 US dollars.
