"Coming back to this champion of human rights issue, Mano was quick to accuse GOSL and SL defense forces for any trouble Tamils face in Sri Lanka. He never verified that such disappearances and abductions were carried out by the “members of the personal staffs” of the respective authorities. As Mr Nadaraja did, perhaps those abductors were acting purely voluntary basis, who knows?"

(June 25, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The excreta had hit the fan. “Holier than thou” human rights activist Mano Ganesan MP is in panic mode. His usual outrage against the “Violation of Human rights” carried out by the state is gone. Today Mano is pleading not to “Tarnish his Image” by saying Mano employs LTTE terrorist explosive experts in his office. Mano and his gang says that “they stand firmly against terrorism”.
Why this champion of human rights had to go this low level? The answer is that The Special Bureau of the CID arrested six LTTE terrorists on the 13th of June. Among them was this explosives expert, one Mr Nadaraja Sivaraja, who happens to work at Mr Mno Ganesan’s Civil Monitoring Commission office.
When the defense sources came up with the news, Mano went in to the panic mode. He made a public statement saying that “Nadaraja Sivaraja is not a member of my personal staff. Neither had he received any remuneration from my office at Fort, Colombo. He was voluntarily visiting us.”
Being a big shot in the human rights business in Sri Lanka and a darling of INGOs and western diplomats, one does not expect such statement from Mano Ganesan. We expect somewhat “refined” and “sophisticated” stuff from people like Ganesan. How about telling us that the man CID arrested was ONLY a suspect and never convicted in a court of law and any suspect is innocent unless proven guilty?
Instead of telling us that Mr Nadaraja is yet to face a trial, Ganesan was quick to “disown” him! Just like Peter disowned Jesus three times before the rooster crowed in the morning twice!
Well, well, Perhaps Mano Ganesan always knew that the LTTE explosive experts are working in his office, making lists, statements, placards for demonstrations, collecting funds, communicating with western diplomats and what not. When one of those LTTE goons were caught red handed, what else Mano could do, rather than DISOWN?

Finally, what if the friends and family of recent LTTE bomb victims from Piliyandala, Kottawa and Polgolla gather together and demonstrate against Mong Ganasan at the Lipton Circus? What if they sign petition after petition against Mano and handover those to every INGO and Western Diplomats? Will that hurt the image Mano has built for himself as the champion of the human rights?

Yes, let Mr. Kumar Rupasinghe organize that protest. Afterall, Kumar and Mano are both fighting for slice of the same pie.
TRAITORS LIKE MANO AND ALSO ALL TNA TRAITORS WHO DRAW POOR SRI LANKANS HARD EARNED TAXED MONEY SHOULD BE METTED WITH PREMADASA ERA AND RANIL's BATALANDA ERA STYLE PUNISHMENTS-RANIL WOULD LOVE THAT???
NEXT BATCH SHOULD BE KUMAR RUPASINGHE AND ALL TRAITOROUES NGOs-INGOS,!!!
These people live in colombo and blame on SL Government and Sinhalese people. This is how they live.
These people dont see how many innocent tamil youths are abducted by LTTE. They dont see there is no democracy at all in LTTE controlled areas(Fortunately its getting smaller and smaller.)
These people cant see how many civilinas were specifically targeted by LTTE.
They can not see how LTTE massacared 1000 sinhalelse and Muslims in NE villages.
Sinhalese and Muslims can not freely mobilize in NE. But innocent Tamils can go any where in Sri Lanka. They can live, study and work anywhere in Sri Lanka. But can sinhalese and Muslims do the same?
Who is violating human rights?
who is trying to hide them?
Now we can see real life of those people.
