(June 20, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) CBK is back. From Europe they say, where exactly, I am not sure. Probably she is coming from France the time. Last time she returned from London and had a big brawl with a duty free liquor shop salesman at the airport named after her father. This time there were no reports of non-payments of bills at the airport. Perhaps a sponsor has footed the bills or what?
True to her good character, she came to tell us lotus eaters to look at our own misery. CBK reminded how we are loosing our freedom and dignity, while the cost of living skyrocketing. As usual, we are happy and grateful to out great leader for showing us the trouble and offering her best to guide us out of that. She promised to fight this corrupted government along with her former cabinet colleague Mangala Samaraweera and her new found buddy, Ranil Wickramasinghe. We are delighted!
It is sad that very same Ranil was accusing CBK of massive corruption and misuse of power only few years back. Remember the Emirates deal? Also, not to mention Thawakkal deal, Shell gas deal, Prima deal, Alsthom deal, lost count, I give up!!! My media friends who praise CBK today used to tell us how she bumped off Rohana Kumara with the help of one Baddegama Sanjeewa. Today they do not remember any of those events took place few years ago. Lets forget about CBK’s misdeeds. Today she gathered together with her chummies to pull the legs of Mahinda Rajapakse. We all could join and enjoy the show.
Sometimes I wonder how she maintains her houses in London and Paris. With ever rising cost of living these days, it must be a Herculean task! That must be the reason she gave up the Madiwela 300 perch land the Cabinet “donated” to he at the end of her office as the President of Sri Lanka. How could one maintain THREE houses? Two houses in Europe is enough for our CBK.
A friend of mine who happen to be a Mahinda supporter called me recently. He does not approve of this “jack in the Box” type appearances of CBK time to time and criticize his boss. My friend told me that CBK could use her spare time rather usefully. How is that, I asked my friend. By searching for her “lost” PhD certificate was the reply.

Congrats a hatchet job for MR. First of all how do you know for certainty she has houses in PAris or London? i heard in England that she lives at her friends houses or on rent and does not own anything. Good point on the so called PhD or even a bachelor's certificate... As for MR when BR gets to retire a dollar billionaire, we all hope you will show the same eagerness to attack them in a balanced manner. Queer part is definitely how RW and CBK are now pals and want to save SL from corruption!~ the UNP wanted to impeach her over the wada karanney nathi engines from France! and the Air Lanka pact ..
