On matters historical
Everything so comical
At times whimsical.
Call it quizzical
With hopes multi-focal
And ideas hypothetical
On issues societal
Filial and parochial
Provincial and political.
Even matters spiritual
Around forces inimical
Illogical and unethical
Even diabolical
And quite pathological
Blatant and hypocritical.
Can our views be identical
On issues unequivocal
With views sympathetical
And feelings empathical?
