(March 17, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) No one denies that the LTTE is very much talked by the politicians and the policy makers in the USA. The USA foreign policy has a different approach to the LTTE although the pronounced them a terrorist organization. The USA considers that the LTTE is not a threat to its’ own people like other Islamite organizations.
The fact remains that so long as the people of America are not targeted by the LTTE, the American politicians and the policy makers may change their views about the LTTE. Who cares the Sri Lankans if they are killed by the ruthless LTTE terrorists?. The US State department report states that the LTTE is eliminating the recruitment and use of child soldiers. The report also states the child recruitment of the TMVP (Former LTTE that split from Wanni based LTTE).

America or the US Department may forget and see a different LTTE but the thousands of the Eastern people have plenty of evidence that will speak volumes. They all became martyrs about 10 years back. US talking about present not past. This is usual false propaganda. GOSL and TMVP have very recent child solider of their own from east.
Tamil LTTE is always known to have child soldiers. In fact, it is a usual practice to kidnap poor Tamil children, use them as soldiers while children of influential Tamils are unharmed.
LTTE broke away fraction, TMVP joined the government with their fleet of child soldiers.
Ever since this merger, LTTE blood thirsty followers are ignoring their own practices and blames GOSL for use of child soldiers.
TMVP has said they have stayed away of kidnapping children. Government has never recruited children to armed forces.
