An heir apparent gone!

A son whose both parents were prime ministers
A son whose mother wanted him to be an heir apparent;
A brother whose sister was a president
A brother whose sister expelled him from the party

In an immoral way;
A non-violent politician who never killed people
An honest politician who never embezzled people’s money
A politician whose greatness lies

On the above mentioned two qualities;
May be one can shrug off the shoulders
When I pinpoint these two qualities
extremely rare in the present day political arena!

An orator who faced another virulent orator Mr Premadasa
In a National Assembly with a tiny minority of members of his party!

A politician who became a bit naïve
Because of his goodheartedness!
"Thanks" to his innocentheartedness!

Though his mother wanted, his positive Karma
prevented him from being the heir apparent!
Thus he has been very lucky!
