- Buddha
"Thanks to impermanence everything is possible"
- Nagarjuna
The death rushed in an unexpected time
While struggling to glorify his own chime
An iota of wisdom is enough to tell
That life is so short to live in full
Teaching of impermanence is pessimistic
For some persons who are too optimistic
But thanks to impermanence’s logic
Everything is possible in the world erratic
To the mother Earth I offer a rice grain
Expecting to reap a pod of it again
Unless there is my dear impermanence
My daily victuals, where can I obtain?
My cherished child gratifying
Ten years ago a tiny tot has been
To my dear impermanence thanking
I embrace him wreathed in smiling
Heraclitus in Greece was teaching
No person can two times bathing
In the same river flowing
Not even once: Buddha saying!
Esquire Sripathi is teaching
Us a true lesson by dying
For this nice warning
Go to him my thanking
In the past Buddha was teaching
Us to practice meditation on dying
Since I have been practicing
I can embrace death by smiling
Let us learn to face ups and downs
Keeping our inner peace growing
By outer world sans being shaken
Then we will be victorious beings
