(January 30, Chennai, Sri Lanka Guardian) Three Sri Lankan Tamils were taken into custody on Tuesday as they arrived on a boat near Rameshwaram.Sridhar (23), Kumar (21) and Arasu (27) held at Sambai coast on suspicion of being the LTTE.
Police said their boat was seized and they were being interrogated.
Police have tightened vigil in the coastal areas following escalation of clashes between government forces and LTTE in Sri Lanka.
