Sri Lanka get 50 million USD loan from ADB

(December, 07, Mumbai, Sri Lanka Guardian) The Asian Development Bank (ADB) said it is lending 50 million USD to Sri Lanka to help promote the development of small- to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) located outside the countrys western province.

The project comprises a credit facility that will be made available through private commercial or specialized banks.

Private commercial or specialised banks will provide 16.67 million usd, while SMEs contribute 22.22 million usd to complete funding for the project, the agency stated.
