Greedy Uncle Sam heighten his Exploitation

(December, 20, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Sons of Uncle Sam in the US Embassy have increased the fees for non- emigrant Visa few days ago. According to Uncle Sam's official statement, "Effective from January 1, 2008, the application fee for a U.S non-immigrant visa will increase from $100 to $131".

Super power of the world nations knows how to give and take. It gives handouts to the poor nations to show that it is generous, but at the same token knows how to take it back. 31% increase in its charges is way above the current inflation rate of Sri Lanka or USA. Profiteering is the ultimate motive.

It is known America always wolf cry on human rights issues. A Palestinian civilian from Gaza once said America has one policy for the states and another policy for the downtrodden. In his own words what he said was, ‘The US is very cleaver. It will give arms to Israel to kill us and send ambulance to the Palestinians falling victims to the arms given to Israel’. American funds play its opportunistic duel role.

The fees paid for visa will not be refunded if the application is rejected. There is no appeal procedure. The US has all sorts of schemes to exploit the people of third world countries. The Green Card system is another money spinning exercise.

The policeman of the world dictates its terms without any worry or fear. It is well known, out of thousands of applications for visa only few succeed. Every drop of cent is important for the money spinner. The underline message is clear. There is no difference between the US government and the exploitative credit card companies. They both generate crooks to abuse their systems and procedures. The margin set by them is so high that it can sustain any massive frauds perpetrated by the rogues.
