Finger Print System to Parliament

(December, 19, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) Government of Sri Lanka has decided to introduce finger printing technology to mark attendance for all Parliamentarians, President Mahinda Rajapaksa said.

Ministry of health in Sri Lanka has been introduced printing technology to mark attendance all are Health Workers few months ago. But it was reason to series of island wide strikes.

However, the Ministry has been able to cut 30% of overtime payments to health workers after introducing the new attendance monitoring system.
