Obviously, with the President’s brother Gotabaya Rajapakse at the helm of it as Chairman, nothing better than it becoming a white elephant is inevitable. Indeed, that is what had happened now to this State asset.
Not only is it running at a loss (people’s money down the drain), it has also been the cause of many millions of rupees loss to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation on fuel provided to it on loans. The salary data appended reveals further the deplorable state of affairs in the Mihin Air.
