(December, 12, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) The Sri Lanka Muslim Congress has decided to withdraw support to the government from today (Dec. 12th) and to vote against Budget 2008 after failed talks with top leaders of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party. Accordingly, four SLMC MPs - party leader Rauff Hakeem, secretary Hassan Ali, Basheer Segudawood and Faisal Cassim - will crossover to the opposition at noon today, according to party sources.Meanwhile, one of the key players in Government, Minister Jeyraj Fernandopulle says if SLMC cross over possible evens our win of the budget impossible.
