Govt. once again proves its Ministers and President have blurred conflicting visions

(November, 24, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian) It was just a few days ago Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister Bogollagama supported the suspension of Pakistan from the Commonwealth.

But. The Cabinet passed a resolution yesterday (23 Nov) taking a diametrically opposite view against the suspension.It is learnt that Bogollagama has expressed his view without consulting the President who is in Uganda.

Bogollagama’s action – how can it be termed –lack of co-ordination, irresponsibility, foolhardiness or overriding authority of the President or all of them put together?

No matter what, Sri Lanka has been made to look a fool’s paradise in the Int. image and foreign relations where the Cabinet and the President fool each other even on crucial Int. issues.
