The country has been devastated economically .If the Govt. fails to achieve economic growth in which area it has miserably blundered, its war efforts will also be a total disaster, warned JVP front liner Lal Kantha at the Ceylon Teachers’ service Union 10th convention.Even if the Govt. presents a political budget and surmounts the massive opposition, it will be a temporary solution, he added.
Referring to President’s recent warning in Galle to teachers not to pawn the future of the children just to win their own demands , Lal Kantha asked whether it is alright for the President to pawn the entire country’s future by taking loans from Private Banks ?
The President is roaming around the world with a Jumbo entourage, and paying massive salaries to consultants who are suffering from senile decay, wasting tax payers’ money, he asserted.
