A rumor is spreading in Sri Lanka political circles that Vimukthi Kumaratunga, the son of former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga and late film star and well known politician Wijaya Kumarathunga, is to enter into politics in Sri Lanka.Vimukthi, a veterinary doctor by profession returned to Sri Lanka on August 31. His public appearance is much expected at the memorial of S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike, the founder of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and the father of former President.
