President Mahinda Rajapaksa is to be address the 62nd UN General Assembly on 24 September, sources in government said.
President will clarify the details of humanitarian operations in Northern and Eastern Provinces and the solution that will be granted to the country’s dragging ethnic problem at the session.
He is to leave the country for New York on September 22.The President will also meet UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon and several state heads during his tour.
