Addressing the fourth of the ruling Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) district rally in Kegalle, the President said that the valiant soldiers have now limited the LTTE to Kilinochchi and Mullaitivu districts. He said that the Navy deserved the respect of the entire nation for destroying three LTTE arms ships in last week at off south Sri Lanka.
Announcing that the government has no MPs that can be purchased, the President challenged the Opposition to defeat the budget proposals if possible.
