News reaching from sources in Paris confirms LTTE is working tirelessly to re-establish its authority in France. In a calculated move the group has sent an appointee with the pseudonym name ‘Viduthalai’ from Vanni to be in charge of its affairs.

The French authorities undertook daring operations to arrest over 14 LTTE activist and leaders few months ago seizing large amounts of currencies and EU proscribed LTTE literatures from the premises.

Sources say Viduthalai will be leading the LTTE operations in a clandestine manner from Paris.
News also confirms LTTE leadership has removed Vanni based Veerakathi Manivannan alias Castro as head of international finance and have appointed him as the head of media and propaganda. Castro is currently working to re-establish LTTE’s lost grounds on media operations with the closure of its Tamil Television Network (TTN).
Having established the ‘Tharisanam’ TV as replacement in Australia for the TTN operations, Castro with the help of Sockalingam Karunalingam alias Kannan undertook the task to branch out its operations in the UK to relay European-wide.

Kannan was the head of TTN operations in the UK and the TTN infrastructure including its equipment have been fully utilised to set up the Tharisanam TV operations in London. Sources also state TTN equipment from Paris had been moved to the London operations based in Edmonton in north London.

In a further development, LTTE’s Terror Guru Edmon Seevaratnam in co-ordination with Castro to establish an exclusive LTTE television station in the name of ITTN. ITTN will be covering exclusive LTTE programmes and news whilst Tharisanam TV will function as a replacement for the TTN giving wide variety of programmes including news and views about the LTTE.

Both these TV stations are said be funded by the LTTE. ITTN is expected to be officially launched soon.
