Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi wrote official letter to pro LTTE Pala Nedumaran and requested him to abandon the fast-unto-death campaign few hours after released because his failed intervention in Sri Lanka without allowed Centarl Govenmnet or State Governmnet in India.
However, the Chief Minister further said in his letter to Pala Nedumaran that, he will take necessary steps on behalf of the Tamil Nadu government to support his cause to succeed, according to the sources close to Pala Nedumaran.
The Chief Minister stressed in his letter, once he returns from Erode and Salem, both him and Pala Nedumaran could meets and discuss further cause of actions in that regards. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s request to Pala Nedumaran was earlier handed over by two pearsion Suba Veerapandiyan and Kasi Ananthan. He was earlier, refused to abandon his fast-unto-death and said, he wanted the central government to promise him Center will allow Red Cross to take the donated humanitarian aid to Jaffna immediately.
The Chief Minister letter was handed over by few high ranking Tamil Nadu police officials directly to Pala Nedumaran late Night on today . After reading the letter, Pala Nedumaran said, he is not in a position to abandon the fast-unto-death until he meets and discuss with the rest of the people who are part of the campaign group next day morning.
Pala Nedumaran continue to fast-unto-death citing both Indian central government and Tamil Nadu government not allowing the Red Cross to take the food, medicines and other essentials items which were donated by the people of Tamil Nadu to the starving Tamils in the North and East of Sri Lanka due to the closure of main A9 link road to the rest of the country.
On Wednesday, Pala Nedumaran, and 500 his supporters were arrested by the police in Nagapattinam in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday for trying to take food, medicines and other essentials to Jaffna.
Meantime Sri Lanka navy have been destroyed Three Arms vassals of the LTTE. Military sources also believed have connection with Nadu’s failed Intervention in Sri Lanka and Three Arms vassals came from South of Sri Lanka.
