Minister Douglas Devananda reveals that he has reliable information to believe that in the next Martyrs’ Day policy announcement, Prabakaran might declare the ‘Two from each family’ campaign.Minister Devananda has alleged that the forcible recruitment of children and youths in Vanni has reached 60,000. Only 7-8% of the applicants have sat for the Advanced Level examination held recently, in that territory controlled by the LTTE. The recruitment drive called, ‘One from each family’ has resulted in the conscription of nearly 60,000 youths including children.
