The passenger air services between Palaly and Ratmalana, which was suspended on Tuesday due to the LTTE shell attack, has returned to normalcy yesterday.
Two private flights with passengers arrived at Palaly from Ratmalana and returned back to Ratmalana with passengers from Palaly. The passengers of the cancelled flights of the day before yesterday were transported yesterday.
Meanwhile, two persons with 5 containers of fuel were taken into custody by the navy when they checked a dingy boat in the Mannar Sea yesterday around 2.15 p.m. The fuel was to be taken to Vidataltivu for the LTTE, the navy said.
