“Some time this is first serious signal of another internal conflict within the LTTE!”, the source said. However the source inside of the LTTE cant’s reveal more details about the newly posted Sea Tiger leader, because security reasons.

The replacements become after exploded at LTTE black Tigers training center in Nandi Lake in the South of Mullative on 18th July 2007.

Former Sea Tiger leader Col. Soosai is in a critical condition following a violent incident. Even his five year old son Shankar and his personal body guard have been dead. Soosai has been rushed to the Ponnambalam memorial hospital in Killinochchi also hes still living under coma.

Foul play is suspected on the explosion. It is believed blast had taken place following serious disagreement between the LTTE Supremo Pirabakaran and Soosai. The dispute had raised tension among Soosai’s cadres and it is claimed instead of arresting or shooting Soosai, nefarious act of blowing the boat was planned by the LTTE leader.

Tensions between Soosai and Pirabakaran since Soosai’s visit to Singapore few years ago were sketchily reported in the media. Soosai was said to be trusted friend of late Anton Balasingam and he also said to have had sympathetic feelings to Vinayagamoorthy Karuna known as Col Karuna who broke away from the LTTE in 2004.

Soosai lost his wife in the Tsunami disaster on 26 December 2005. Funeral accorded to his wife with coffin specially brought for her body at the time when mass burial of the Tsunami victims was taking place caused displeasure among the people in Vanni.
