More than 300 people wounded on wasps attacks in Sigiriya

Deadly wasps residing in Sri Lanka’s famous rock fortress Sigiriya attacked the visitors for the fifth time within a month today.

Wasps attacked around 70 individuals today. Twenty-five injured persons including eight children were admitted to Sigiriya hospital. Large crowds were visiting Sigiriya these days during the summer vacation.

Wasps attacked around 250 people yesterday and some of them are still being treated in Sigiriya hospital.
