By: Nelson S. EdirisingheDouglas Devananda, Minister of Social Services and Social Welfare, declared opens bus Commuter Sheds constructed at the Central Bus Stand, Jaffna on yesterday.
Minister Devananda in an earlier occasion too, on his routine visits Jaffna had constructed two such Bus Commuters Sheds for the benefits of the bus travellers from his allocations. When the Minister was the Minister of Development, Rehabilitation, Reconstruction of the North & Tamil Affairs, North & East had taken many a step for the convenience of the Bus Commuters of Jaffna district, he intends carrying forward this people’s friendly drive in the future too.
On the same day the Minister participated in a religious function held at Jaffna Nallur Kandasami Kovil. The Minister also looked into the facilities available for the devotees that flock to this temple regularly.
