President Mahinda Rajapaksa is the best thing that has happened to LTTE Leader Velupillai Prabhakaran recently, outside foreign minister also Member of Parliament Mangala Samaraweera said on today at press conference held in Colombo.According to Samaraweera, “What President Rajapaksa says and does now will allow the LTTE to come back strongly in the global arena.”
Meanwhile he has invited the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna [JVP] to join hands with the opposition alliance to oust the Mahinda Rajapaksa regime.
Meanwhile, former minister and the Member of Parliament Sripathi Sooriayarachchi say Milinda Moragoda, a close associate of UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe, who supported Mahinda Rajapaksa to become President.
“During the election campaign, Milinda carried out a series of propaganda events to highlight the past of the UNP. It was Milinda Moragoda who tipped up off about when and what was happening to prepare our own fight against the UNP leader,” Sooriyaarachchi claimed attended with the same press conference.
“When we were in the SLFP, we opposed their joining the government. Today, these thieves have left the UNP, and Ranil Wickremesinghe can lead the party according to his wishes,” he added.
Even, Mangala Samaraweera extended his affection and appreciation to the JVP leadership and urged it not to protect the Rajapaksa regime that is full of waste and corruption.
“We will give you the eight votes needed to change the government. I want to tell my friends in the JVP, whom I like very much even today, not to speak on behalf of this government and protect it any further,” he kindly requested with lots of dreams for oust the Rajapaksa regime.
