Karuna condemn the increased killings in the Jaffna

Tamil Makkal Viduthalai Pulikal (TMVP) better known as a Karuna Faction urge the police to take tangible measures to bring the culprits to the book while vehemently condemning the increased trend of killing culture, which rules the root in Jaffna.

Several innocent civilians have been killed and are being killed in Jaffna daily. TMVP expresses its regret over this killing culture. These killings certainly put the lives of the Jaffna people at stake and throw a shadow future mingling with fear. It is not that healthy that the criminals get escape committing these killings in the government controlled areas close to the checkpoints.

Accordingly, we urge the police and the security personnel who are committed to safeguard the civilians to take tangible measures to bring the culprits to the book while putting an end to the killing culture.

We also request the government currently working towards the prosperity and peaceful environment of the eastern province to take tangible measures to establish a conducive environment in the North as well where the people in the north can live free of fear.
